LOS ASS-DRAGGERS ABBEY ROADKILL! (Crypt) Maybe too wild to listen to it all the way through, but take out just single songs and they blow you away. Different 45s would have been the better format, but heck, just play a couple of songs and stop when it's too much... 21 cuts: "Big Daddy/What About The Fucking Martians/College Radio Shit/Karate Mountain Men/Limbo Dancer/Shitty Instro/F.U. Dirty Old Man/Big Black Joe/Casino/Little Miss Linda/Make Me Rock/Move Yer Ass Right Now Jerry Garcia/Drivin & Stinkin/Go Ahead/Asskickin/Gay Twist/Cheapo Beer/Makin Shit Like A Bear/El Esleazo/Treat Me Like A King/What Do Ya Do". LP 8.00 CD 5.50

BASSHOLES "Broke Chamber Music" (Secret Keeper) Damn great collection of early 45s, plus some unreleased and live stuff. All tracks are recorded between 1992 and 1994. If you don't mind lo-fi recordings, I'm sure you'll dig the unbelievable "Changes Had To Come" or gems like "John Henry/ Jelly Belly/ Haunted Hill/ Cockroach Blues/ Hokey Pokey (She Said I Got) A Problem" and more. 23 tracks, which is a overkill to listen to all the way, but if you just pick out some at a time, this is GREAT!! Tracks of their (mostly) great 45s on Disc 2 plus lottsa unreleased stuff and compilation tracks on disc 1. It is missing a fave of mine, the "Darkroom" singles version, but as this is not a singles compilation you don't get all the stuff from the 45s. This here is pretty much a great new record (recorded in the 90s..) with lots of hard to find single tracks and three videos as a bonus. Double CD € 17.90

CRAMPS: I think pretty much up to the 'Date With Elvis' LP all their stuff is essential. After that you get some weaker records too, always with good songs on though, so I needed them anyways - maybe you do too.

CRAMPS: Songs The Lord Might Have Taught Us (Alien Records) Great sounding reissue of the almost legendary white label album - cool stuff and a must have for every Cramps fan - well actually for everybody who doesn't own their old stuff on vinyl... The difference between this here LP and the actual released "Songs The Cramps traught Us" LP: The tracks: Drug Train/ Garbage Man/ Rock On The Moon/ Teenage Werewolf/ Sunglasses After Dark/ Strychnine/ Mad Daddy/ Mystery Plane/ Zombie Dance/ I'm Cramped/ What's Behind The Mask/ Tear It Up/ Fever. The white label pressing of "Songs The Lord taught Us" had "Drug Train" in place of "TV Set" and most of the other tracks were totally different mixes from the actual release. "Drug Train" was left off the album because Alex Chilton thought it didn't fit in. The eventual single mix was different. An intial batch of the U.S. release was shipped in a sleeve with the white label track listing although the actual record inside was the U.K. release. The logo and title on that sleeve was printed in white and the rear of the sleeve had a purple tint as opposed to the pinkish U.K.  LP 11.80
CRAMPS De Lux Album A must for anyone who doesn't have these tracks on vinyl! Sleeve is taken from the mini-LP boxset (that came with the book and shirt) and feature the Off The Bone "Human Fly/ The Way I Walk/ Domino/ Surfin Bird/ Lonesome Town/ Fever/ arbage Man/ Goo Goo Muck/ She Said/ Drug train/ Love Me/ I Can't Hardly Stand It/ The Crusher/ Save It/ New Kind Of Kick" LP 11.90
CRAMPS TEENAGE WEREWOLF/ SUNGLASSES AFTER DARK/ WHAT'S BEHIND THE MASK/ I'M CRAMPED.Discovered some long out of print 45 on the fake Sub Pop label (NOT A REPRESS!), featuring the four best and actually different mixes from the "Songs The Lord Tought Us" LP. Excellent stuff : limited and numbered and comes in a black & white sleeve. 7" 7.50

DAN MELCHIOR THE COVERT STOMP: 1992-2003 (Hate Records) Damn goode blues record - half originals, half covers. I like the variety on here - you get cool blues tunes and tradiotinals in different variations of tempo and sounds. Lots of B. Childish kind of interpretations without imitating him. "Cheap Wine" is my personal fave (ya ya, I know - and it's also a song on here). LP  11.50

MISFITS GALORE.. Now here's a good question from my oldest friend (the only one left from lame old school days in squaresville, S.H.): Why don't you have any MISFITS stuff in the catalog?? You bought everything you could get in your hands back in the 80s and early 90s and now there's no single record available in the catalog?? What's wrong - don't you like them anymore?? Like I said, good question. I loved them and probably listened a bit too often to their records and sometimes crappy (soundwise) boots. So there I sat, drunk (it was already late and when he comes by, we drink a lot of beer, talk nonsens (what else..) and listen to records) and wondered, when I listened to them the last time. I grabbed the Misfits coffin (of course I had to buy it when it came out, although I already had every song on there in different variations..) and put it in the CD player (yeah, I know - but sometimes it's just too  comfortable to play a CD, especially when you're drunk...). IT WAS GREAT TO LISTEN TO THEM AGAIN. The Misfits where fun back then and they still are. I probably won't buy any of the new stuff cause I guess it might be too annoying, but all that early shit is just great. So, for all of you who didn't get a hold on the essential MISFITS tunes, we gladly help you out:

SUPERPUNK A Bisserl Was Geht Immer Superpunk probably work more for the german taste as they have great lyrics which give you an extra kick. They all come out of a (northern) soul and punk direction and they turn that into their own great sound. Kaufen! Sell Out/ Eric Cantona Stomp/ Matula Hau Mich Raus/ Das Ist Heute Nicht Dein Tag/ Ich Bin Ein Snob/ Die Axt Im Walde/ Eine Autobahn Im Regen/ Nein Nein Nein/ Ich Kann Nicht Nein Sagen/ Guybo/ Es Kann Nicht Ganz Schlecht Sein/ Gespenster/  Heraus Zum Ersten Mal/ Der Mann Auf Der Bank/ Du Hast Es Nicht Weit Gebracht. WILDEBEESTS "ANNIE GET YOUR GNU" (Screaming Apple)Good record starting off with the great Headcoats sounding "Your Mind" which is my absolute fave on here. ANDRE WILLIAMS "Poor Mr. Santa" (naughty & nice version) (Norton) Not a real feature, but the naughty version is a fuckin' great XXX-mas song - a generic blues theme combined with the coolness of Andres' voice and the hilarious lyrics makes this an essential christmas record! 7" 5.00
